meg & jacob's maffra wedding

For this super-chilled couple, marriage means everything. Megan loved walking towards Jacob and shared that “absolutely nothing compares to walking down the aisle to the person you love most in this world. Seeing your partner for the first time was like falling in love all over again, butterflies and all.”

Both Megan and Jacob wrote their vows. Their vows were kept a beautiful surprise until their wedding day and they loved hearing each other’s words that they had spent time writing for each other. It was ironic and just meant to be Megan said, “in the end, we had matched our stories so well you would swear we wrote them together!”

Megan and Jacob opted for a small private ceremony with their immediate family (parents, siblings and grandparents) sharing their love, hopes and dreams for the future. Everyone was involved in the whole process of getting these two hitched and there wasn’t a dry eye in the room.

one piece of advice

Be unique to you. Remember that this day is about the two of you and your love for one another. This is your special day; wear cowboy boots if you want to and a thrift store wedding dress if it aligns with your values. In the process of creating your wedding day, don’t lose sight of what makes you special as an individual and as a couple.
