Alex and Cam first met on a footy club pub crawl, and it wasn’t until a few years later after Alex liked Cam’s Facebook profile photo, did things start to blossom. After endless messaging, it was time for their first date which felt like a blind date as they really hadn’t seen each other in years.  They met for a casual dinner, both barely eating due to the nerves and butterflies they both felt for each other. Nerves aside they both chatted away until they went to the movies. The film was rather boring, but the night ended on a high after they had their first kiss!!! Things progressed slowly from there and it wasn’t until a trip to Hawaii together, that their relationship really started to blossom.

the proposal

Cam surprised Alex with a weekend away to Melbourne, telling her to pack something beautiful to wear and to paint her nails.

Alex thought this was a bit strange and was blissfully unaware of the upcoming events of the day. So, after constantly nagging Cam with endless questions, Alex started noticing Cam was becoming quite nervous and it wasn’t until she realised they were at the QT Melbourne where Cam first asked her to be his girlfriend, that Alex suspected something was happening. So, after the arrival champagne was popped, and a few awkward moments later, Cam with a huge smile on his face, got down on one knee and asked Alex to marry him and of course, she said yes!!

the gown

Before Alex got engaged, she had already had an eye on a particular gown she had seen on Instagram by a well-known designer. As soon as Alex tried the gown on she knew it was the one. A timeless elegant gown made of French crepe that made her feel absolutely amazing. She was ecstatic!

favourite memories

Alex remembers the huge smile on Cam’s face as he watched her walk down the aisle with her proud Dad. Both Alex and Cams shared a mix of emotions throughout the day, but finally knowing they were married was sheer excitement. The love they felt as a couple on the day is something they will cherish forever.

favourite vendors

All of Alex and Cam’s wedding vendors were absolutely amazing and the day wouldn’t have gone so perfectly without them. Carly and Rhiannon from Two Sisters Celebrants were incredible and the life of the party, not only created a fantastic ceremony full of laughs and heartfelt moments but also fulfilled the MC role to a tee. They were so organised but super fun. Both Alex and Cam felt so grateful for the passion and love that Kristy from Kinship by Kristy shared in her photography work on the day. They both shared that ‘her photography work is beautiful and made them look like movie stars and captured such natural beautiful photos and memories of their day that they will look over again and again for years to come!’
