Hello!

My ceremonies are like me – natural, authentic, creative, and fun; easy to listen to and impossible to forget! I love crafting stories that spark laughter and happy tears, putting you at ease, and setting the tone for the rest of your Day.

My interest in people and their relationships is at the heart of who I am and all I do.  I find it easy to build trust, create connection and spark emotion, thanks to skills I developed as a Counsellor and Teacher.

So, when I was looking for a change, a heart-centred change, a Celebrant friend suggested I become a Celebrant too. Nothing could have prepared me for the intense joy I feel when marrying two souls in sync; for the tingles I get when they exchange words that strike a chord; and the pride I feel that they’re legally married.

When I’m not officiating ceremonies, you’ll find me enjoying a chat, a dance, a book; or unwinding with a G&T whilst listening to a podcast. I love a good walk, especially while our rescue greyhound, Hazel was around, or just sitting by the fire or water’s edge, daydreaming about life’s big and little questions. Fun fact: despite being an average swimmer, I once sailed from Queensland to Tasmania with my hubby and a friend, crossing a rare but welcome, calm Bass Strait.

Born in South Africa, I’ve since called Melbourne, Tasmania, and now Sale my home, and proudly offer my Celebrant services throughout Gippsland and beyond.

So, whether you call me Rosemarie or just Rose, I’d be over the moon to craft a ceremony that’s as intimate or grand, yet always unique, to your story!
