Our Love Story
I don’t believe that there are many girls in the world who get to say they married their high school crush, but I am one of these girls. In August of 2019 Mason asked me to marry him, and then a quick 6 months later, we were married! Mason and I knew that we were always going to elope, it was more of a question on when and how.
February 22nd 2020, what a perfect date, as soon as we picked this date for our engagement party, we knew this would be the day we would get married.
Mason and I got married the morning of our engagement party, we then arrived at our engagement party later that evening to reveal the big secret that we were married!
Our day was just perfect, from the elopement ceremony to our big announcement to dancing the night away with all of our friends and family.
Choosing to elope was just right for us. It was so nice just being able to focus on the man I was about marry at our ceremony and nobody else. There is nothing about our day we would change, it was perfect for us.
Raving Fan Moment
If you have not met Sonya and Joey from Bonnie Pix & Flix (our Photographer and Videographer) do yourself a favour and say hello. I met Sonya at the 2019 I do I do Gippsland Wedding Fair and I knew straight away that she would be the perfect person to photograph our special day. Having Sonya and Joey there with us all day just felt right, we clicked so well, they made Mason and I feel so comfortable, and we got the most perfect photos and videos of our day.
One Piece of Advice
You are never going to be able to please everybody, so make sure you do what makes you and your husband to be happy. This is your day and no one else’s, remember that.
