Our Love Story
We were in Alaska on an amazing stretch of road with snow on the mountains, it was like something from a movie. I wanted to stop on the side of the road as we were leaving to get one last photo. On previous days we kept falling in the snow and laughing at each other. When we were getting the photo taken, his cousin was videoing us. Chris fell into the snow and I was so busy laughing at him I didn’t realise he was on one knee, until he grabbed at my jacket to get my attention and then asked me to marry him.
My wedding dress was the first dress I tried on, it made me feel so beautiful. I always wanted a dress that sparkled and I fell in love with the lace and detail on my dress. The most amazing time before the wedding was on the Thursday night, right after we had set up. We decided to put our ‘first dance’ song on and practice dancing. The excitement and love I saw in Chris’s face made me feel like it was the first date. It was such an incredible feeling. Just being able to have our families together as one and watching them all have so much fun was really beautiful. Chris and I loved every moment of the day. It is so hard to choose just one special moment – it was all so magical.

One Piece of Advice
My biggest advice is to be organised and book any vendors you want in advance. Always remember the wedding is about you and your partner and to always follow your heart with how you want to plan your big day together.
